The Links at Unionvale
153 North Parliman Road
LaGrangeville, NY 12540

Nestled in the rolling hills of the Hudson Valley, this 18-hole golf course provides breathtaking views and a rolling landscape, rivaling the links-style courses of Ireland and Scotland. With distinct and memorable features of water, potbunkers and natural hazards complemented by bent and fescue grasses, it has been the host of USGA events. Now rated No. 17 out of the top 100 courses open to the public in New York State by Golf Magazine, and was nominated for best overall course and best conditioned course in 2007.

Washington, DC Bus Trip

December 2009 found 40 parents on our first bus trip to Washington D.C. where we visited the Marine Museum. The following day we joined "Wreaths Across America" to help lay 16, 000 wreaths for our fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery. We then traveled to Walter Reed Hospital and met some of our wounded heroes.

We welcome you to come join us for our 2010 trip. It will be one to remember.

Out of respect, pictures of the wounded are not displayed.

Operation Santa 2009

We would like to thank many in the Hudson Valley for helping make our Operation Santa 2009 an overwhelming success. With over 350 boxes packed and shipped overseas we were able to get care packages to many for the holiday season.

Helmet liners/scarves:
Many residents have joined to fill the need for helmet liners/scarves due to the rugged and harsh winter months in Afghanistan and for that we thank you for sharing your talents. If you are interested in knitting or crocheting items for the troops, please see the instructions on the Activities page.

Please remember our troops need our support on an ongoing basis, not just for the holidays. Donations/care packages are sent throughout the year.

Semper Fi Parents of the Hudson Valley, a 501c(3) organization and recognized New York State charity, owes its origin to the desire of a handful of local parents to gather, share information and support each other after their Marine recruit left home for boot camp. Since then our membership has grown across the Hudson Valley, including (parents of) those serving in the Army, Navy and Air Force and covers all aspects of the military service.

Our focused goal is to support those who are in the military, both deployed and stateside. We engage with the community to raise funds to offset the cost of shipping packages to our troops, educate parents by hosting informational session and offer education scholarships in the memory of our Fallen Heroes to help those how are recently discharged from the service.

Our children who protect and honor our country are a special breed of people. The work of Semper Fi Parents enables us to feel useful and productive while our children face the hardest battles of all. It is with a most gracious heart that we express a profound gratitude for your love, support and generosity.

We hope the information we provide here will prove useful. Please check back often.

Thank you.
