Walkway Over the Hudson
Due to unforeseen circumstances the 2011 5K event has been cancelled.
Please remember the day by wearing one of our 10th Anniversary tee-shirts and honoring those we have lost.
To all of us, this is the day our world as we knew it changed forever. For some it may be a day they lost a family member to this horrific event. To others it may be the turning point at which their child decided to enlist to fight for their country. Either way we as Americans felt the loss.
Semper Fi Parents of Hudson Valley has designed a commemorative shirt so we as a community can remember the fallen. We hope to take as many advance orders on this as possible, so many in the community (including businesses) will have the shirt for this specific day. This will be an ongoing ordering opportunity through September 11, 2011.
Save the Dates: December 8 - 10, 2011
Washington, DC Bus Trip
It's our yearly trek to Washington D.C. to remember our fallen heroes as we join Wreaths Across America in the laying of countless balsam wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery.
With other tours planned for the time in D.C., it's a tug on your heart that puts everything in perspective.

Semper Fi Parents of the Hudson Valley, a 501c(3) organization and recognized New York State charity, owes its origin to the desire
of a handful of local parents to gather, share information and support
each other after their Marine recruit left home for boot camp. Since
then our membership has grown across the Hudson Valley, including
(parents of) those serving in the Army, Navy and Air Force and covers
all aspects of the military service.
Our focused goal is to support those who are in the military, both
deployed and stateside. We engage with the community to raise funds
to offset the cost of shipping packages to our troops, educate parents
by hosting informational session and offer education scholarships
in the memory of our Fallen Heroes to help those how are recently
discharged from the service.
Our children who protect and honor our country are a special breed
of people. The work of Semper Fi Parents enables us to feel useful
and productive while our children face the hardest battles of all.
It is with a most gracious heart that we express a profound gratitude
for your love, support and generosity.
We hope the information we provide here will prove useful. Please
check back often.
